Up Next for Hothouse at the Playhouse: Madagascar

No, not that Madagascar.

The next play to be featured in the Hothouse at the Playhouse reading series is the award-winning 2004 play by up and coming phenom J.T. Rogers.

Directed by Art Manke and starring stage and screen vets Robert Foxworth, Michael Learned and Monette Magrath, Madagascar is the haunting story of a mysterious and unresolved disappearance that changes three lives forever. At three different periods of time, three Americans find themselves, alone, in the same hotel room overlooking the Spanish Steps in Rome. Madagascar is about the elusive nature of memory, and how the consequences of the actions we take ripple out in ways unforseen.

Tickets for Madagascar are free, but seating in the Carrie Hamilton Theatre is extremely limited. Please RSVP to the Pasadena Playhouse box office at (626) 356-7529.
